     SINGLE TANK TECHNOLOGY STEAMER: ( VC4000-S)  The VC 4000-S (sometimes called a VS4000-S) is an ST (single tank) technology vapor steam cleaner. This ST Technology unit has a powerful large 4 liter water capacity, 1600WATT, 120Volt heating core within its solid state, sealed, stainless steel, single tank boiler system. This ST technology is not only powerful but it tends to be extremely reliable as its internal components are few in number. Its simplicity of design makes it rugged dependable.

      IS ST TECHNOLOGY RIGHT FOR ME? If there is any down side at all to a powerful, dependable ST (single tank) Technology steamer it is that when the steamer runs out of water you will have to turn it off to refill it. If you need the unit refilled right away you will have to release the steam pressure, open the pressure cap, fill it, and wait for it to warm back up. This process can take from 20 to 30 minutes. The VC 4000-S can run in dry steam mode about 90 min non-stop steaming on the highest setting. If you think about it, most jobs are a 'steam and wipe' or a 'stop and go procedure' thus greatly increasing the run time. For many, if of not most job applications this is more then a sufficient run time.  If you plan on using the hot water injection often, be aware, you will run out of water MUCH faster. On the other hand if you will only be using the hot water injection feature one in a while, this is not an issue. If you do plan on using the hot water injection very often consider one of our continuous fill systems like the VC 4000-C,  VC 5000-Ci or Super Vapor 6 or see ALL Steamers here. These continuous fill systems allow you to add water while the unit is running with NO downtime between fills. All that being said, the 4000-S is a great system for the cleaning professional. Your decision depends on what your application is and how many hours a day of non steaming you are planning to do.

      The 4000-S also comes in with an integrated super heated, hot water injection system. With a press of a button (located right on the steamer) you can spray out super heated dry vapor steam mingled with hot water for a powerful cleaning and rinsing effect. Now that's power! The steam flow is fully (100%) adjustable. The 4000-S also features an long 8 foot steam hose for added convenience. It is light weight and fully portable, so much so that it can even fit on the front seat of your car or truck. Unlike cheap plastic steam poles our insulated heavy duty aluminum poles are designed to be contractor tough! They allow for extended reaches above your head or stand while you work cleaning. The short pole often comes in handy for working at waist and chest level on such as sink and counter top cleaning. Also included is the large floor brush / Steam Mop. This high quality impact resistant tool has 3 functions. It is a large steam scrub brush, a squeegee and attach the included cloth and you have a powerful steam mop perfect for hard surface sanitizing & cleaning. Note: this mop head has built in spring loaded clips that allow you to attach your favorite cloth type. From micro-fiber to cotton, the choice is yours. This gives you to option of buying low cost replacement cloths at Home Depot or Lowes. Also included is the medium triangle brush shown in the picture. This is a powerful scrub brush is for corners, counters and more. The medium round brush works much the same way but gives a different scrubbing pattern for various uses. Use them with the poles or directly attach it to the steam gun. This set also comes with one of my favorites, the large triangle brush.     The VC-4000-S  steamer has thousands of uses.  It's great for the grout cleaning business, restroom cleaning, steam cleaning toilets, cleaning urinals, tile floors, steaming parts, auto detailing, dry car-washing, mobile detail work, disinfecting, sanitizing, pest control, automotive parts cleaning,  machine cleaning, welding preparation, hotel maintenance and a whole host of other uses.

    PEST CONTROL: Bed Bugs are a big issue these days. Everyone wants them gone and gone NOW. One of the greatest options for killing bed bugs, lice, flees and other biological contaminates is super heated steam. When done right steam kills both the insect and the eggs on contact. Our new Bug Zapper Steam pan (see picture to left) does an amazing job of encapsulating and concentrating steam to kill bugs. We also have a new tool for combating drain flies in restaurants. These pesky flies live in the sludge found close to the top of kitchen drains and can become a big problem. Simply place the steam cone (picture to left) over the drain and steam for about 4 minutes. This will super heat the pipe and kill the insects. Often the steam will kill what chemicals wont! You see, the chemicals don't penetrate the thick layers of food and grease often found in these drains. By super heating the drain head, you cook everything in it including the flies and their eggs. The cone can also be used for bed bug eradication and wall paper and sticker removal.

     Vinyl Lettering & Wall Paper Removal: The Bug Zapper is also the perfect wall paper remover. Simply place the pan on the area of the wall to be cleared, steam and peel off the wall paper. You can also use this approach for stickers or vinyl lettering on trucks & cars. I used steam to strip my old work truck of the company vinyl lettering logos and phone numbers. It is a great alternative to a heat gun with less risk. NOTE: You do not need the steam pan to do this work. You can use the included large floor brush or triangle brush with a cloth over it. That is how I removed my vinyl lettering. The steam pan simply encapsulates the heat better. Both the fly cone and the bug pan can be used

    The grout cleaning business is an exploding industry with the potential to make you thousands of dollars a week. Before 1999 the grout cleaning business was virtually unheard of. Now it is growing rapidly. Some claim that you require an expensive truck mounted system to do this kind of work. It just isn't true. Our guess is the individual telling you this is simply trying to sell you on their product line or perhaps keep you out of the business all together. Another possibility is that they don't know about the steam option or have had no practical experience with a quality commercial vapor steam cleaner.      Cleaning Grout, How Fast? How fast can a Vapor Steam Cleaner clean grout? That is one of the most common questions we are asked. The fact is it depends upon the steamer used. Quality accessories and wattage count the most. The information and video offered below is based upon using the VC 4000-C unit. That unit has an extra 200 watts of power over the 4000-S. You may want to add a couple of minutes per 50 SQ foot section. However, the 4000-C info and video given below will give you a good idea on the 4000-S speed and results wise, the work the same. Typically, you can clean the floor grout of one foot by one foot square (1'x1' or large = most common floor tile size) tiles at an average rate of 150 to 300 square feet per hour. Naturally, that depends on the tile size (larger tile = less grout =  often cleans faster) grout condition, steamer power, working conditions and other factors. In the time test footage we cleaned 56 square feet with the VC 4000 C in 7 minutes, that's not including wiping or sucking up the dirty moisture left behind on the tile. With clean up time it came to10 minutes to clean the whole 56 square foot section. So lets estimate down to give the benefit of the doubt. If you had one person working the steamer covering 50 square feet approximately every 10 minutes it is safe to say you could accomplish the cleaning of 300 square feet of  per hour. Two men working with two steamers should be able to clean from 500 to 600 square feet per hour including clean up time.  If you are charging 75 cents (prices vary nation wide) per square foot you just earned from $375 to $450 for one hours labor!  There is no question, vapor steam cleaners are great for home and commercial grout cleaning.
